Description
In this position, you will be responsible for managing all components of the US Credit, Collections and Accounts Receivable functions. The position reports to the VP of Treasury and interacts with other areas of the organization including: Finance, Sales, IT and Customer Service. The person must have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team of Credit and Collections analysts.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing a team of Credit, Collections and Accounts Receivable Supervisors and Analysts
Supervising the credit review process, including the ongoing review of dealer and distributor credit limits and performance of credit reviews for new and existing dealers/distributors
Supervising the collection of domestic and international payments, including dealers, distributors, national accounts and mass merchants, assisting the Credit Supervisors with collection activities in difficult cases
Supervising the Accounts Receivable department, which is responsible for the billing and cash application processes
Working directly with the Sales Department and Collection Supervisors to manage the order release process, in an effort to maximize sales while managing credit risk
Responsible for the development and adherence to corporate and department policies and procedures, in accordance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act
Monthly preparation of aging reports, cash forecasts, DSO statistics and allowance for doubtful accounts
Managing relationships with external third party providers, including Credit Reporting Agency, Third-Party Flooring Companies, and Collection Agencies, etc.
Coordinating and evaluating current processes to identify opportunities for improvements that will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Credit Department. Lead initiatives to enhance productivity of SAP within the Credit function
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related discipline

years experience in credit management, with supervisory responsibilities
Hands-on team player who is highly motivated with a focus on business process improvement
Strong understanding of financial statements and credit scoring models to determine creditworthiness
Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and managerial skills
Ability to multi-task daily responsibilities with special projects
Basic knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley, including accounts receivable and allowance for doubtful accounts
SAP experience, including the Sales/Distribution and Accounts Receivable modules
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
