Responsibilities / Expectations
A). Graphic Artist Requirements - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Familiar with InDesign. Interpret engineering data and create technical art (diagrams, flow charts, montages). Create original art and edit existing art. Understands design elements used to create visual communications solutions, applies knowledge of color, layout, composition and spatial elements for the print medium.
_And/Or_
B). Document Designer Requirements - Microsoft Word advanced expertise. Must be able to create, use and understand: style sheets, headers and footers, section breaks, frames, paragraph submenu item, bullets and numbering, borders and shading, columns, tabs. Elements include: complex tables, page layout, text formatting, art integration, comparing documents.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience Associate's Degree in a related field or the equivalent experience is required. In addition, a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience is required.
Must have previous experience working with engineers designing technical manuals and documents.
Must be able to travel 0% of the time.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
No Clearance Required.
