The Product Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting all areas of product management. The individual will help support all aspects of new product development, from initial concept to product launch. This includes formula marketing review, packaging, naming and pricing. Conducts on-going research and gathering of market, consumer and competitive data to support new product development and product enhancements. Supports ongoing management of products by providing new product pricing, changes to product positioning, and all other aspects related to supporting growth and business objectives of product development and management.
Duties and Responsibilities
This section summarizes the major essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally assigned to this position:

Supports management of project timelines to ensure on-time execution of product initiatives including new product launches
Conducts detailed competitive analysis to provide key insights and support decision making as it relates to new product development
Conducts domestic and international market research to provide insight into trends in the marketplace to help drive new product development and global expansion
Supports development of customer insight strategies to gain knowledge and identify opportunities for new or improved products (i.e. customer surveys, Voice of the Customer)
Utilize market and target audience knowledge to provide support with product concept development
Assists or leads product trials and market testing for evaluation of new product concepts
Help evaluate sales potential of new product ideas
Utilize both internal and external resources to evaluate and propose innovative and creative packaging options
Supports the implementation and execution of new product positioning, naming and/or packaging
Develops and conducts sales reporting and analytics of ingestible products
Works with internal stakeholders to ensure product plans are successfully executed
Helps maintain, implement and communicate product marketing guides to ensure consistent product messaging throughout the organization
Communicate and effectively collaborate with various departments such as R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Creative, and Marketing who are integral to the product development process.
Provides other marketing support as directed by Product Marketing Director
Knowledge and Skill
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years of Marketing experience. Product-specific marketing experience a plus.
Strong project management skills
Excels in a fast paced environment with ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Work well in a collaborative team environment
Ability to communicate effectively, both written & verbal
Nutritional Supplement and/or Consumer Goods experience a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
