Summary:
Colony American Homes, LLC is seeking Training and Development Manager. The primary function of the Training and Development Manager will be to improve the productivity of our organization's employees, as well as be responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. Assess company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives. Identify, prepare and/or arrange suitable training solutions for employees. Actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. This Training and Development Manager will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities: Include the following but not limited to, other duties may be assigned.
Develop effective training programs and materials on a wide-array of topics to include: Property Management Systems (Yardi based), Sales, Customer Service, various soft-skills.
Deliver and/or train others to deliver effective training sessions in various formats to include: direct delivery, online, webcast. oConduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results
Modify programs as needed; develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
Develop trainer development programs and coach others involved in training efforts, providing effective growth and development opportunities.
Develop and maintain property communications to ensure employees are aware of internal educational opportunities as well as maintaining compliance with required learning tracks.
Plan, organize, facilitate and order supplies for employee training events.
Develop and monitor spending against the departmental budget.
Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and the human resources staff.
Minimum Requirements and
Qualifications: To ensure performance of this job is successful, the individual fulfilling the Training and Development Manager role must be able to perform each essential function and responsibility satisfactorily. A bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources or organizational development preferred.

years progressive training and development experience
Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.
Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change.
Must have tertiary qualifications in human resources, training and development or business studies.
Working Conditions:
Typical Office Environment - no unusual exposures
Computer, keyboard, telephone, fax machine, scanner and copier, etc.
Occasional overtime work required throughout the year.
Travel may be required- up to 25%
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
