Spine Institute of Arizona is seeking a Receptionist to join our family oriented and fun team. This well-respected multidisciplinary medical practice consists of 8 providers. The Receptionist role is an integral part of our team, ensuring that the practice operations run smoothly every day. Candidate should have a great personality, be efficient, organized and punctual. Will teach candidate how to become be familiar with health insurance providers, and be proficient with managing patient referrals and scheduling. Medical experience not necessary. Provide support to the department/site ensuring quality service through timely and courteous assistance. Provide service support to patients who request our care. Answer calls in a timely, pleasant and professional manner Schedule appointments Confer with patient to obtain and confirm pertinent billing and demographic information Accurately enter patient and insurance information into system and complete the patient registration process in an accurate manner. 1 year minimum customer experience, healthcare preferred Basic computer skills preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, human relations sensitivity, listening and telephone etiquette skills, Medical terminology knowledge desirable Comfort in asking patients for co pays Maintain order and cleanliness at the front desk Ability to promote and maintain good patient relations and patient confidentiality. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
