Position Overview
As a member of our Test team under the guidance of Test Engineers you will be responsible for programming, debugging, and testing on the HP3070 ICT equipment and Automated Optical Inspection equipment. Additionally you will be expected to performing complex board level troubleshooting to the component level in support of multiple programs, utilizing a variety of test equipment to accomplish these tasks. You will be responsible for the test equipment utilized in the test area, including functional operations as well as calibration compliance. An active DOD Security clearance at the level of Secret or Higher is required for this position. The selected candidate must demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiative in their daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communications skills both oral and written, additionally must have the ability to successfully interface with multiple people and departments, with a proven record of success in mentoring lower level technicians.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate must have hands on experience utilizing a variety of commercial off the shelf test equipment, for both testing and troubleshooting of RF, Digital, and analog subassemblies as well as complex systems. The selected candidate will be required to maintain logs, provide daily status, maintain records, take and organize test data. Candidate must be able to interpret complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics with a logic approach to troubleshooting. The selected candidate may be asked to update modification and release new and existing test procedures and other documentation. Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test and adjust a variety of tools, equipment and systems. Conduct, analyze and document statistically based experiments to defined process parameters. Perform complicated/unique preventative maintenance tasks. The candidate must be detail oriented, with the ability to follow direction both written and oral as well as the ability to multi-task in a development and/or manufacturing environment. Advanced data entry and computer navigations skills are required. An active DOD Security clearance at the level of Secret or Higher is required for this position.
Qualifications
Education and Experience HS grad plus related Associates degree from Jr. College, Trade School, Mil Tech Training or equivalent and min 9 years applicable experience
Must be able to travel 0% of the time.
