Senior Java Engineer
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Duration: 3months (Contract to Hire)
Job Description:
Software programming, design, estimation and planning
Installation and configuration of applications and systems, customer support, documentation and testing
Developing requirements from user specifications for new features and enhancements
Deploy and debug J2EE compliant applications using Tomcat Application Server on Windows Server platforms
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physical or Life Sciences or equivalent experience

years J2EE including JDBC, JSP, JSF
Familiarity with the Agile development process.
Experienced in Struts, Maven 2, and Ant
Experienced with Oracle 10g and MS SQL Server 2008
Experienced in ANSI SQL, Tomcat 5.5, Javascript, CSS, HTML
Preferred experience with CDC PHIN vocabulary system
Preferred experience with CDC NEDSS Logical Data Model
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with others as part of a team and work under tight time constraints.
Customer and account management experience desirable

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
