Key Responsibilities
The Senior Information Technology Technicians performs a variety of duties in support of a computer and/or client service unit. They respond to and diagnoses problems and answers queries regarding computer hardware, software, network and telecommunications systems. Senior Information Technology Technicians maintain and update records and tracking databases. They install microcomputer hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives. Senior Information Technology Technicians also load and verify correct operation of software packages, such as operating system, work processing and spreadsheet programs. They also provide training and technical assistance to users.
Demonstrates knowledge of Windows 7/8, MS Office 2007/2010, Visio, project, Laptop Encryption software, Anti-virus software, Internet Explorer, Lync, LANDESK and/or Altiris, Dell Hardware, and Wyse Terminals.
