The Tax Manager will report to the Director of Tax and assist with the Company's income tax compliance, tax accounting and tax planning, as well as identifying and pursuing strategic tax initiatives for the Company. Responsibilities:
Manage annual federal income tax compliance process, working closely with external tax firm Prepare quarterly tax estimates and projections Prepare quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax accounting computations Develop, document, and implement relevant tax policies and processes as our business continues to expand into new markets Work with external providers to ensure accurate and timely completion of non-income tax compliance obligations including property tax returns, sales and use tax returns, and other miscellaneous tax filings Partner with accounting, FP&A and other groups to develop successful long-term strategic relationships with internal partners Identify and communicate regarding tax-related legislative developments, opportunities and exposures Evaluate process opportunities and implement ways to drive efficiency, automation and tax optimization opportunities Oversee income tax audits and resolve tax notices, working closely with our external tax firm Ensure sufficient documentation and analysis to support tax positions, calculations, and disclosure requirements Maintain a forward-looking perspective by remaining abreast of industry and tax developments Assist with special projects and company initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting/tax. Master of Taxation degree preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), required 5-10 years of relevant tax experience, with an emphasis on US federal income tax compliance and income tax accounting, in both public accounting and corporate environments Some knowledge of Indirect Taxes (Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax) preferred Research and analytical skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to communicate and drive improvements in tax practices and processes Tax system knowledge preferred Ability to work independently, willingness to roll-up sleeves with a positive can do attitude Experience in the technology and/or telecom industry preferred but not required Interest in learning and expanding tax skills and expertise Experience working with large data sets a plus
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, TaxEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
