The HRMS Specialist provides overall support and maintenance of our Human Resource Management System - Workday. The specialist provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. The HRMS serves as the primary contact for customer support to the People Team, Payroll, Finance and Business Enablement. Key
Responsibilities:
Maintains and supports the Workday HRMS Assists Nextiva in transitioning from Paycom to Workday and preparing Workday for global use Collaborates with all members of the People Team, Finance and Payroll, and Business Enablement Maintains the highest level of confidentiality, integrity and accuracy of all data in the HRMS and affiliated systems Acts as the primary contact for customer support and the efficient use of the HRMS and time and attendance software for Human Resources and Payroll staff at Nextiva Enables and oversees the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades and patches Assists in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs and processes routine reports (census, unemployment, WOTC, etc.) as requested while ensuring that efficient and meaningful reports are generated Develops procedures, written guidelines, and manuals for effective communication and business operations related to HRMS with emphasis on management and employee self-service Ensures the training of new system users upon hire and when requested Serves as company liaison and system administrator to HRMS systems Provides analytical insights and reports to improve HR processes and systems Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required Strong understanding of HR processes and data flow required 5-8 years' experience in Human Resources Management Systems in multiple countries, including 2-3 years' experience with Workday and transitioning to Workday from another HRMS system Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint and strong Excel experience Willingness to work hands-on in the detail as well as the analysis. Able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal) Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with employees and all levels of the organization, as well as external contacts Ability to work both independently and as a team player and provide Amazing customer service Must have seasoned judgment and business situation versatility, with ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and resolutions to problems Ability to deal with Human Resources and pay information and issues confidentially
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
