The HR Admin will service the organization through administrative needs, hiring and onboarding, enforcing company policies and practices and more! HR Admin
Responsibilities:
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Prepares and issues employment offer letters to approved applicants.
Performs new hire orientations.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, performance and talent management, employee relations and culture, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
Performs routine tasks within the HRIS system to update employee profiles and manage company programs.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
HR Admin Skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
1-2 years of Human Resources experience in an HR Admin or Generalist role preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient with ADP Workforce Now a plus.
SHRM-CP or PHR Certified a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$45,000.
00 - $55,000.
00 per year
