Kindthread is searching for a results driven Procurement Analyst motivated by the challenge of continuously improving production plans and hitting organizational targets.
You'll play an integral role in managing department goals and controls in a fast-paced international manufacturing environment devoted to turning out high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
Review inventory position daily and weekly against outstanding orders and sales forecasts.
Take action to expedite inbound shipments to meet customer demands specified in purchase orders.
Ensure that goods are shipped from vendors in the most timely and efficient manner.
Manage and understand vendor base, including part numbers, quantity, lead times, and constraints.
Coordinate with the operating department to manage inventory levels at multiple locations.
Maintain positive and professional working relationships with suppliers.
Establish reliability and initiative to create a higher performance standard through meeting set deadlines, achieving goals and objectives, and pursuing efficiency.
Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
Analyze status reports to review and evaluate production progress, work in process, and finished goods demand.
Make suggestions for improvement in areas of global planning, resource optimization and inventory productivity.
Ability to course correct and adjust transportation and distribution plans based on supply fluctuations.
Review and manage system and report generated exceptions, such as late production orders and unfulfilled demand.
Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Creative Design, Raw Material Planners, Technical Design and Distribution on special projects.
Analyze monthly supply and demand for capacity planning purposes.
Other duties as assigned.
