8 6 hours ago Full Job Description The Driver will provide transportation for residents to assigned destinations in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITY:
Transport residents to and from assigned destinations in a safe and comfortable manner, following all traffic laws.
Conduct daily inspections of vehicles for safety and cleanliness pre and post trips.
Maintain all Westminster Village health and safety protocols.
Always interact with residents, family members, caregivers, and non-Westminster Village staff professionally.
Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
Provide a certain level of flexibility within their schedule.
Wash and perform light maintenance on company vehicles; report any need for vehicle maintenance to the Lead Driver.
Ability to work in a positive teamwork environment.
Assist residents in getting in and out of vehicle.
Follow driving directions to ensure accuracy in arriving at the appropriate assigned address.
Represent Westminster Village in a positive light while off campus.
Safely use a cell phone via Bluetooth to receive calls from supervisor while driving.
Strong and consistent customer service skills.
Perform additional job tasks as required by supervisor.
Qualifications EDUCATION/
Experience:
Possess a valid Arizona drivers license with a clean driving record.
Prior driver experience preferred.
High School diploma preferred.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Arizona Department of Transportation medical card within 6 months of hire.
Possess a valid Commercial Drivers License or obtain one within 6 months of hire.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
Ability to continuously get in and out of a vehicle multiple time a day Ability to sit for a prolonged amount of time.
Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, and squat.
Ability to push a resident in a wheelchair (up to 300 pounds); lift up to 50 pounds.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
