Summary:
Staff scientist will provide scientific and technical expertise in supporting R&D efforts within the product development department.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Participate in research and development efforts toward stated product development goals, including developing experimental plans, analyzing data, and presenting results.
Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams, including R&D engineering, manufacturing engineering and management as needed to develop new and innovative products.
Communicate research and development progress and results to key stakeholders and direct managers.
Stay current with scientific advancements and proactively identify new opportunities for product innovation.
Participate in development of new intellectual property and patents.
Qualifications:
Minimum master's degree in physics and 3
years of experience in multidisciplinary R&D environment.
Experience with numerical modeling and simulation preferred.
Experience in laser and optics research preferred.
Some experience with design and or use of RF power supplies for gas lasers desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
