Job Title:
Claims Administrative Assistant Position
Summary:
As a Claims Administrative Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our team, providing general clerical support to the claim personnel and other team members.
Your contributions will uphold CCMSI's Corporate Claim Standards, ensuring exceptional service and exceeding our clients' expectations.
This in-office position offers a stimulating and collaborative environment where you'll grow both personally and professionally.
While medical terminology knowledge is preferred, this entry-level position offers valuable opportunities to learn and develop.
Responsibilities:
Set up designated claim files with accuracy and efficiency.
Summarize correspondence and medical records, maintaining organized records.
Facilitate timely communication by returning provider calls.
Follow up on bills to streamline claims processing.
Provide backup support for Receptionist and assist with mail processing.
Collaborate with claim staff and offer assistance as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or two years of related business experience is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
