The Title Clerk contributes to the Business Office's daily operations by managing the title work for new and used vehicles, preparing appropriate documentation for the Department of Motor Vehicles, and providing administrative support to the Accounting team.
Job Duties:
Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled Prepare paperwork for the titling of new, used, and wholesale transactions Prepare and submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV Regularly reconcile title and registration schedules Process refund checks to customers Submit vehicle contracts and other required documentation to lenders Collaboration with the sales and finance departments
Qualifications:
1 year experience with dealership title work required Dealership accounting knowledge preferred Superior understanding of title regulations Sharp attention to detail and accuracy A strong desire to learn and develop professionally The ability to collaborate and contribute to team success Required to pass a background check and drug test prior to employment Job Type:
