Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma or GED plus vocational or in-house training, related coursework, seminars or certifications in Environmental Services and Supervision.

Responsibilities:
Job Summary Assists Environmental services leadership in managing in develop, implement as well as evaluate strategies within the EVS department.
Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of the housekeeping department.
The EVS Quality Assurance provides professional coaching and consultation to influence with all the EVS hospital leaders and direct work with the EVS professionals (Staff) at each location with delivering excellent patient experiences to our patients.
In addition, the role will focus on coaching the execution of the HonorExcellence patient experience and develop standard work, model HonorHealth's Values, Service Behaviors and Customer Service Skills within the department.
Conducts annual safety training on all equipment.
Trains new staff and retrains current staff on an ongoing basis.
Orients staff to work area, procedures and protocols.
Evaluates competencies.
Provides current accessible work activity schedules for all positions.
Partners with Patient Experience Coach and provides professional coaching to EVS staff within the EVS departments.
Team and leaders to develop, implement and improve the Patient Experience for patients as well as hardwiring HonorExcellence.
Plans, conducts and oversees the patient experience projects for hardwiring success.
Coaches best practice Patient Experience concepts to leaders and staff through on the floor training, workshop and project and DMS Huddle coaching.
Uses evidence based information to provide new knowledge and shape practice when applicable.
Communicates closely with the Service Center and ensures prompt response to work orders and requests for service.
Maintains excellent communication with Nursing and leadership.
Assures compliance with standards for Infection Control, OSHA, DNV, and Health Department regulations Monitors use of equipment.
Conducts annual safety training on all equipment used for housekeeping functions to allow staff to have the tools to do thier job.
Performs other duties as assigned.
