Camelot and it's affiliated companies are looking for a highly dedicated Site Manager with experience in custom and semi-custom luxury homebuilding to join our team.
We are excited by your interest and look forward to connecting! POSITION SUMMARY Camelot's Architectural CAD Technician is responsible for the creation and maintenance of community- and lot-specific plans including custom options and grading/drainage.
This role is a critical component of the highly customized, luxury experience Camelot offers to all customers - internal and external.
Essential Duties Meet regularly with Owner and Director of Design on specific plan changes Document, implement, review, and distribute changes to appropriate associates and departments Correct plan changes by redlining CAD drawings for new and existing plans Perform architectural drafting needs for starts, custom requests, plot plans, and model home complexes Draw custom change requests on CAD Provide lot fit analysis and plot plans for current, future, and preliminary contracts Build and maintain plan library files including custom option drawing files Act as back-up to the Architecture Coordinator as needed Qualifications A minimum of three (3) years of residential construction experience in a similar role will be essential for success in this role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD LT is required.
This role manages a high volume of work in a rapidly changing design environment with frequent interactions with the Owner and Director of Design.
Many requests are made in real-time and priorities adjust regularly.
The ideal candidate will have/be Able to read, comprehend, and apply detailed construction blueprints, specifications, and detailed development drawings Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changes Highly organized, focused, persistent and scrupulous about accuracy and detail Maintain excellent project and time-management; including the ability to ask for clarification/direction when unclear and to pro-actively communicate limits to establish an ideal work-life balance Knowledgeable in local, state, and federal building and construction codes Action oriented with an exemplary work-ethic, possessing unusually high integrity and internal drive Present a professional appearance and demeanor with excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; genuinely friendly and approachable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient technology skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and residential production scheduling systems; specific experience with BuilderTrend or Hyphen is beneficial Local travel is required, must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation THE CAMLEOT WAY At Camelot, we are a company with a strong culture made up of diverse yet like-minded individuals who work together to fulfill dreams.
