Tax dept has two specialization areas:
Federal and State/Local Responsible for handling State tax, partnership, trust returns, Corporate tax, and Personal tax As the Senior Analyst, this individual will be trusted as a Subject Matter Expert among other Analysts Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain company tax database Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Advise leadership about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws Coordinate and partner with outsourced tax preparers to include review of work Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends Prepare and review year-end tax filings for all funds, not limited to 1099INT, federal and state income tax returns What you must have:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a MUST Ideally around 3-5 years minimum on the tax side of accounting Public Accounting experience strongly preferred, but not required Additional Information:
Starting Salary:
$90k-$100k annually (depending on experience) Hours:
