Job Overview The Assistant General Manager must be professional, dependable, enthusiastic, and friendly.
The Assistant General Manager must work well under pressure, have previous restaurant management experience, and be excited to join a team that is dedicated to detail.
This position is to assist the General Manager in accountability for the store's performance and requires strong organizational and communication skills to drive our commitment to excellent guest service and high-quality dining! Overall responsibilities include team leadership and motivation, overall financial management, guest satisfaction, and additional administrative tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties oOversee coordination of the entire restaurant operation, including front-of-house and back-of-house oDeliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction oRespond efficiently to customer complaints oEnforce and offer the best quality of products possible oOrganize and supervise shifts oAppraise personnel's performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive oEstimate consumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory oTrack compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations oControl costs and cut waste oSuccessfully promote and publicize the brand oNurture a positive working environment and lead by example as restaurant supervisor oTrack operations and start corrective actions Requirements oAt least 21 years of age and has earned a High School diploma or GED o2 or more years of restaurant management experience managing a team of 15 or more employees at a time, interacting frequently with guests and coaching employees to assume increasingly challenging roles oDemonstrated career experience in customer service management oExtensive food and beverage knowledge oAcute financial management skills oAvailable to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays oExperience with Windows and MS Office, Aloha, HotSchedules and an understanding of inventory control systems is a plus oAbility to understand and follow specific recipes, processes and systems with precision and consistency oPossess strong organizational skills and can effectively prioritize needs (solid multitasker) oThrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment oAble to take direction as well as delegate tasks accordingly oDemonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; able to easily interact with diverse employees, bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus oAble to lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
