Coordinate interdepartmentally as it relates to group and guest issuesParticipate in training activities to improve knowledge
skillsCommunicate well with all clients and guests, anticipate and resolve issues in a timely and efficient mannerMonitor, supervise and prepare month-end balance sheet account reconciliationPrepare forecast vsactual group commissions and communicate variance to Director of FinancePrepare income audit reports one day weeklyPrepare and generate timely group, catering and wedding billing and process paymentInspect all in-house accounts to ensure adherence to resort's credit policy and assist with collection efforts as necessaryMonitor accounts receivable as requiredManaging and safeguarding cash for the organizationThis involves receiving, counting, and disbursing cash accurately and securely.Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceAssist in the month end reporting and proceduresPerform filing and administrative tasksFollow departmental policies and proceduresFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedQualifications 5
years in hospitality accounting or equivalent experience requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications or relevant computer applications requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesAbility to multi task in a high speed environmentAttention to detail a mustAbility to adhere to deadlinesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamRemain calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
