Quality Document Control Specialist
General DescriptionThe Document Control Specialist will facilitate the receipt, retention and transmittal of all quality related inspection records, test reports, and material certifications and official correspondence between the QISG team and the client.
Dutieso Manage Procore Submittals as outlined in contract documents to be transmitted / uploaded into the clients document management system.
o Maintain distribution list of responsible parties for various stages of document review process.
o Participate in the workflow of responsible parties reviewing quality records within Procore to validate readiness to upload into the client document management system.
o After uploading, maintain and status a log of uploaded documents.
o Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
o Complete special projects and other duties as assigned or requested.
o Coordinate document delivery to meet project schedule and working with Project team QA Managers and Construction Managers to meet established dates of documents scheduled to be transmittedo Identify and escalate issues to project management.
Required Experience and Educationo High School diploma, or equivalento Competency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacyPreferred Experience and Educationo Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant field.
o 2 years' experience as Document Control Specialist within the transmission/distribution space.
o 4 years' experience with database management software.
o Experience with Procore, InEight, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office and Outlook or other similar type Document Control software.
Skillso Self-starter who can work independently while supporting the needs of the teamo Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)o Customer service and effective time management skillsTravel Requirementso Travel:
Yeso Percent of Time:
Up to 15% (Overnight travel to project site(s) to participate in training, reviews and face to face meetings as required.
