Maintenance Technician
Whitestone REIT is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in our Arizona Scottsdale market. The qualified candidate will have a great work ethic, with the capability to work under minimal supervision and consistently all projects. Qualified candidates must have a personal vehicle for reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
Make light repairs and adjustments on plumbing systems as needed; Repair interior and exterior finishes and drywall of properties; Repair electrical issues within properties; Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of properties; Repair water pumps and fountains; Manage time wisely and productively while working independently; Able to complete tasks from start to finish.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or G.E.D. required; Valid driver's license required; HVAC certification strongly preferred; Minimum of two years general maintenance experience in commercial retail environment required; Minimum of two years of general plumbing and electrical experience required; Ability to do physical requirements such as stooping, climbing, and ability to lift 40 lbs. or more; Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and complete reports, training will be provided; and Ability to work in and around Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ. n Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
