Responsibilities
SummaryAs part of the Advanced Algorithms Group, the Senior RTK Algorithm Engineer will deliver state-of-art Real Time Kinematic (RTK) algorithms and software that are critical to all Hemisphere GNSS products.ResponsibilitiesResearch, develop, simulate, implement, and test innovative ideas to improve Hemisphere s RTK algorithms.Develop complex software in C, C++, MATLAB, or other selected languages in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes.Test and improve code quality.Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.Problem investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsWork collaboratively and professionally with other associates in cross functional teams to achieve goals.Participate in the creation of publishing material such as white papers.Attending technical conferences on behalf of the company when necessary.Present technical papers at conferences when necessaryMaintain company quality standards.Other duties as assigned.Minimal travel required (5%)This position pays:
$142,600 $218,500 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications
Minimum QualificationsPh.D. or M.Sc. or B.Sc in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics8
years experience developing RTK algorithms.Preferred QualificationsPrefer experience directly related to improving RTK receiver firmware in difficult environments.5
years experience with strong programming experience in C and C+
in an embedded systems contextFamiliarity with GNSS systems and concepts is required.Integer Ambiguity ResolutionKalman Filtering, Least-Squares EstimationProficient in matrix mathPrefer experience that includes developing an RTK algorithm from scratch.Prefer experience developing RTK algorithms for a commercial precision GNSS receiver.#LI-REMOTE
