Technical Delivery Lead

Responsible for the overall customer satisfaction of specific business segments and works within the IT organization to ensure prioritization of strategic objectives.
Manages the segment book of business--- captures and maintains all work being performed relating to IT within their AOR and assists Project Delivery Manager in ensuring the IT Portfolio is kept up to date.
Builds and maintains relationships with business segment stakeholders.
Serves as a trusted expert on technology, process, and technical delivery.
Participates in the business segment's strategic planning; focusing on creating a functional portfolio aligned to business and technology strategies.
Understands the segment's business processes, direction, and technologies.
Brings creative ideas on emerging technologies and best-in-class practices to segment leadership.
Coordinates and partners with the business on how to work with IT and ensures business projects follow the IT governance process.
Ensures delivery of large segment initiatives by working collaboratively with the Project Management Office to drive initiatives through the project lifecycle.
Manages small projects through the project lifecycle; creating and maintain schedule, scope, resource, and budget artifacts, securing resources required for delivery, and leading successful implementation.
Creates and maintains relationships with internal technology teams and external technology vendorsLeads and guides technical delivery of IT peers, partners, and vendors on all segment initiativesSpecific business area knowledge and relevant technology experienceExperience with big data, analytics, and data science from a platform engineering and support perspective, including Tableau, MicroStrategy, AWS cloud - especially RedShift, Databricks, and Alteryx8
years of Information Technology or relevant industry experience4 years of Information Technology experience managing information related technologies, resources and projects, including teams with direct reports.
Experience communicating with senior leadership, direct reports, business segment stakeholders, and vendors, to ensure collaboration, efficiency, and delivery.
Experience leading technical teams, including peers, vendors, and cross-functional members.
Experience in the following areas/ Strategic planning and roadmap development, project management, and portfolio management.
Educational This position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
