We are a nationwide team of respected, connected, and talented land professionals that provide advisory and brokerage services to clients who need a rock-solid, data-driven roadmap for acquiring, selling, financing, or developing land and land-related assets.
We currently have 31 offices (in 3 separate business lines) across the Country.
Position:
We are currently accepting resumes for a full-time position as an HR Generalist in our Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters.
As this is a new position with the firm, the chosen individual will have ample opportunities to shape this function for both the immediate term and for the future the firm.
Immediately identified tasks this individual will be responsible for include (but not be limited to) the following:
? Hiring (posting jobs, seeking out candidates, screening resumes, conducting screening interviews, organizing subsequent interviews, creating/sending offer letters).
? Office visits (coordinating candidate office visits to headquarters, creating agendas for such visits).
? Employment Agreements (administering both Independent Contractor Agreements for our Advisors and Proprietary Agreements for our Support Team members).
? Onboarding (coordinating training and related onboarding activities).
? Compensation (establishing salaries/salary ranges, communication salary increases and annual bonuses) ? Insurance benefits administration (conduct open enrollment, answer employee questions, communicate with providers, etc.
).
? Time-off (PTO) and attendance tracking.
? Human capital management (management of the evaluation process, participation in disciplinary actions and terminations) ? Internships (coordination of our annual Summer Internship program).
? Events (involvement in the engineering and implementation of a variety of Company events including industry/market forecasts, Company meetings and retreats, team building, webcasts, podcasts, charity, holiday, and other office specific).
? Creating and maintaining employee files/records.
? HR policies and procedures (creation, modification, and implementation of).
? Submissions for awards such as 'Best Places to Work'.
? Legal (assuring legal compliance at all levels of the Company/Employee relationship) Required Skills and
Qualifications:
The optimal candidate for this position will have the following:
? Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR-specific role.
? While not required, experience in a Service Industry is preferred.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Strong organizational and analytical skills.
? Positive work attitude and team player.
This is critical! ? Quick study with the ability to work independently.
? Ability to work comfortably with all levels of the Company, from the C-Suite level to our Summer Interns.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
? Extreme comfort with Internet search engines (and the associated AI tools) and the ability to leverage them in performing research tasks.
Compensation / Other:
This is a unique opportunity for one to work in a high-energy, collaborative environment with considerable autonomy.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, and as a W-2 employee you will be eligible for annual raises, bonuses, health insurance, and an array of other perks.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
