Responsibilities include:
Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner.
Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft.
Conducting a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Checking weather and facilities along the route, including alternate airports.
