Our client in Scottsdale has an immediate need for a Sr. Accountant.In this role you'll coordinate and administer royalty accounting (expense and income), account for stock-based compensation, bonuses, commissions and benefits as well as oversee and mentor junior staff.
You'll perform detailed financial analysis (including GAAP research and technical analysis) of various general ledger accounts, propose journal entries, maintain current reconciliations, and make recommendations regarding proper accounting treatment. You'll assist with the documentation of accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide audit assistance.
To be considered for this position you'll need the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience, CPA a plus
- 4
years of experience in accounting/finance
- Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP and external reporting requirements
- Royalty accounting experience preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Hyperion experience a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
