Distributor Sales Manager

The Distributor Sales Manager is responsible for all direct distributor sales into their defined territory.
They are responsible for consistent growth of profitable business in accordance with the company
Marketing Plan; including total gallon and margin objectives.
In addition to adding new Distributors in the territory, the DSM trains and works with existing
Distributors' sales staff to promote horizontal and vertical growth through key personnel
relationships, sales and product training, field work, technical support and management of the
Distribution Agreements.
The DSM reports to the Vice President of Sales.
o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
o Minimum 5 years lubricant sales experience
o Existing 1mm+ gallon portfolio
o Proven growth record
o Highly effective communication skills
o Demonstrated negotiation skills
o Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

o Ability to travel up to 50%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
