Job Title: Interactive Project Manager
Position Overview
The Interactive Project Manager's main role is to manage specific interactive projects - fulfilling client objectives and providing excellent client support. The Project Manager works very closely with the Client Services Team, the Creative Team, the Interactive Team and any technical vendors related to that account/project. The Project Manager maintains day to day contact with the client but the tasks will revolve around specific projects rather than the account as a whole. This person is also responsible for ensuring projects remain within budget and on schedule. The Project Manager is responsible for gathering assets from the clients and organizing these assets for development. He/she suggests alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and with greater efficiency. The Project Manager works closely with the Interactive Team, the Digital Producer and the Creative Team to organize the project execution.
Responsibilities
Able to implement programs across these services: SEO, Paid Search Marketing, Social Media, Mobile Apps, Email marketing, Mobile Websites, Ad Servers among others.
Communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Manage content management systems (CMS) on behalf of clients.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project: team, scope, budget, timelines, etc.
Motivate teams of cross-functional disciplines (strategy, design and development) to achieve the desired project goal.
Anticipate client needs and propose alternative technical solutions.
Manage technical vendors across a range of technology requirements/platforms.
Possess a knowledge base of each client's business, systems and objectives.
Qualifications
BA / BS degree in communication, marketing, advertising or equivalent experience
Minimum 4 years' experience in an advertising agency, interactive agency or design studio
Strong understanding of the web design and development process
Ability to coordinate creative, development and production teams
Experience in understanding functional requirements, project plans, and budgets
Passion for learning the latest interactive technologies and techniques
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-starter environment, juggling multiple projects at once
Familiarity with .Net, HTML, CSS, Flash and ActionScript, PhP, FBML.
Knowledgeable on online marketing strategy and tactics (AdWords Certification desired)
Minimum 2 years' experience with email marketing programs such as Exact Target and Emma
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication to clients, internal staff and the management team
Compensation:
The chosen candidate will receive a base salary based on experience and track record. Generous health and life style benefits are available in addition to a matching 401K. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
