EventPro Strategies (EPS), an AZ-headquartered entrepreneurial international agency with a 14
year history, seeks to add ambitious and high-energy individuals to the Sales and Business Development Team. EPS is an event/experiential marketing company that partners with national marketing agencies & corporations to staff and execute events, large & small, for hundreds of Fortune 500 brands around the world. We maintain a robust database of active talent who are trained and booked to work events for our brand partners.

Major
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for aggressively driving sales activities, being opportunistic, building exceptional Client relationships, having strategic conversations within the industry, and growing EPS through the addition of values-aligned Clients and new profitable revenue for the company. The sales department leads our efforts in developing customer loyalty, establishing new Clients by closing warm leads, and growing and maintaining client relationships. This is a high-energy, fast-paced industry and definitely breaks out of the 9-5 mold.
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
Create highly detailed estimates and write in depth proposals to include strategic plans, presentations, and negotiate sales contracts
Set up and conduct in-person, over the phone, and online presentations with potential and current clients
Utilize lists, contacts, and current client relationships for referrals and introductions to potential new clients
Responsible for all daily and outgoing client communication
Manage account services through quality checks and other follow up
Grow and up-sell clients to utilize the company's full range of services
Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships
Consult with clients on maximizing the success and reach of their programs
Periodic troubleshooting to ensure all teams are able to meet client expectations/requirements
Ensure superior customer service on each contract
Play a supporting role in the deployment of ongoing activities required to on-board and manage new and current customers
Coordinate with internal team to accomplish the work required to close sales
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made to promote strategic client growth
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product/service/industry knowledge
Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services
Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company team members
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and industry events

Travel

20-30% - Must have proven flexibility in undertaking travel out of state or internationally
2-3 weeks of training in one of our main office locations

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of relative experience (preferably in sales related to advertising, events, PR, or experiential marketing)
Must be an A Player and have a positive attitude (anything less will not last in our environment)
Must be high-energy, passionate, self-motivated, and have a great sense of urgency
Demonstrate a commitment to client loyalty, relationship building and account success
Track record of exemplary customer service skills and positive client relationships
Track record showing good decision-making skills based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
Proven skills as a strategic thinker who is organized, process oriented, and able to work with project teams across functions
Proven ability to manage conflict, confront problems quickly and appropriately
Customer focus/empathy - ability to relate to and focus on the customer's requirements to help them achieve their goals
Track record for managing multiple high-level projects to successful completion and ease
Demonstrate a history of possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and using exceptional analytical skills to gather, interpret, and present complex data to benefit both the company and the clients
Demonstrate strong and persuasive verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a track record as an effective negotiator
Demonstrate process management, leadership and organizational skills
Visibly maintain a professional appearance and present a positive company image to the public
Demonstrated ability to perform in alignment with company mission and values
Proven PC Proficiency in MS Windows, Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems
Bachelor's degree or other related experience required
