Software Engineer -All Levels (Scottsdale, Arizona)
As a Software Engineer with Orion Health you will work as a member of a focused cross functional Agile team, building products that assist Clinicians in improving the health and lives of their patients. You will be part of a team taking ownership for all aspects of the SDLC from design, through to coding, testing and documentation. You will bring strong software development skills to the role but also have the interest and will to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to ensure the successful delivery of your product whether that be testing, documentation or assisting in requirements gathering.
You will have strong functional knowledge of object oriented design and demonstrated experience in Enterprise Java development. You will have exposure to building web based enterprise applications using a mix of tools such as Hibernate/JPA, Eclipse, OSGi, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and web technologies such as JavaScript (e.g. YUI,AngularJS,Dojo), CSS3 and HTML5. Back-end and middle tier development experience in enterprise Java, leveraging open source tools such as Hibernate/JPA, Equinox, Jersey, and others is essential. You will be familiar with traditional RDBMS technology as well exposure or interest in emerging NoSQL technologies. Successful candidates will come from environments that use progressive Agile engineering tools and approaches such as Continuous Integration / Delivery, pair-programming, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Automated Testing and others.
Minimum experience of 1-2 years with Software Engineering and relevant tools for junior levels through to 5
years or more experience for Senior level candidates. Candidates at a minimum should demonstrate strong Java Enterprise development building web based applications. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is essential for these roles.
