Position: Java Application Developer, Information Technology
Summary:
The application developer provides creativity and innovation in the company assigned development projects. The application developer is responsible for the design, architecture, prototypes, systems integration, implementation and testing of assigned projects. The developer employs expertise in emerging technologies, relational databases, user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques in completing projects.

Essential Job
Responsibilities:

v Works with fellow developers, web designers and business to create customer facing and internal serving web applications.
v Develops web pages using JSP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript (third party Javascript libraries including but not limited to jQuery and YUI).
v Creates new and maintains existing backend 3rd party integrations using Java to support business.
v Supports and creates customizations of our Association Management System (Aptify) through VB.NET programming.
v Develops efficient code in a consistent manner with proper supporting documentation.
v Proactively ensures the quality of front-end code and UI design.
v Accurately estimates project timelines and scheduled milestones.
v Participates in gathering business requirements and assessing existing architectures and resources.
v Communicates effectively, orally and in writing with end users, management and programmers.
v Analyzes code to find causes of errors and areas for coding or design improvement.
v Participates on cross-functional project teams as required
v Ability to integrate existing systems with each other and/or third party software.

v Minimum 5 years' experience with Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript and general web development a must
v Experience with relational databases and SQL
v Prior experience with VB.NET a plus but not required
v Self-motivated independent worker but can also work well within a small team
v Detail oriented, takes pride in a quality finished product, not just in completing a task.
v Good communicator, not afraid to ask questions and work with fellow team members in devising optimal solutions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
