Global Project Coordinator

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Global Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the full life cycle of multiple concurrent web implementation projects worldwide, from concept to launch.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
Manage the implementations of technology platforms throughout the world including: e-commerce, mobile, online join, marketing site, distributor site, Qlikview, Salesforce.com, GlobalPay, Global Events mobile app, etc.
Manage presence in social networking sites to develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and encourage product adoption.
Coordinate the content management of corporate sites, blog and social media platforms to drive engagement.
Work with relevant business units to understand the vision, objectives, and intended ROI behind the enhancements, initiatives, and platforms being proposed for implementation.
Manage all day-to-day activities of a given project from inception to closure.
Coordinate internal and external project teams through a quick deployment process.
Ensure the proper level of communication within and between the technical delivery team (Engineers), business units and Executive sponsors to collaboratively develop web applications that support business needs; to include scheduling and facilitating meetings for feature identification, estimation, prioritization, planning and daily check-ins.
Lead multiple projects using an Agile software development methodology.
Collect feedback through Agile practices such as burndown charts and retrospectives, and interpret trends in order to promote continuous improvement.
Compile web application requests and deployment issues, to provide a feedback channel into our web development team.
Track and share status with project teams to maximize productivity and efficiency including daily scrum meetings and a team wiki (online).
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with business teams and developers.
Vendor relationship management.
Coaching and training of internal employees, global support staff and Distributors as it pertains to newly implemented web processes.
Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:
Solid understanding of and skills with one or more of the following: Web Content Management, Rich internet applications, Web & Social Analytics and content personalization.
Proficient with MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Proficient with Internet Explorer, Skype and Social Media (Twitter and Facebook).
Advanced level project management and task management skills.
Professional presentation; strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Able to work on multiple projects at once and effectively prioritize and complete assignments accurately and on time.
Able to work quickly and handle high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing tasks, priorities and deadlines.
Must have strong initiative, confidence, assertiveness and accountability; strong attention to detail and quality, follow-up and follow-through.
Ability to process information quickly, anticipate needs before they arise and work with little or no direction or direct supervision (must be proactive).
Consistently professional, friendly, helpful telephone and in-person demeanor.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:
Bachelor's degree required.
Internet software/e-commerce industry work experience preferred.
Two to four years of work experience in information technology, participating in software development, business process analysis, requirements gathering or project management.
One to three years of work experience managing web implementation projects.
Prior work experience with the launch and operation of a highly available, high traffic internet or mobile service.
Experience with Scrum, Extreme Programming or another Agile development methodology.
One year of work experience with one or more of the following: Web Content Management, Rich internet applications, Web & Social Analytics and content personalization.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
