Vehicle Description Total body-off rotisserie restoration on a rust-free 1955 Chevrolet Nomad.
Just out of a high-end private collection; never shown or offered for sale before.
Every single piece on the car is either NOS, restored or replaced as needed, including all the Nomad-only trim.
It is finished in traditional red and white, done in the correct lacquer finish, and has an all-new matching red and white interior in correct original-style material.
All interior chrome and stainless is either NOS or expertly restored.
The entire undercarriage has been extensively detailed.
The frame and all suspension components were prepped and painted, and all suspension components were totally rebuilt.
This Nomad also has all-new correct original-style brakes and lines, as well as a stainless exhaust, including mufflers.
It is equipped with NOS hubcaps surrounded by BFGoodrich wide whites.
The drivetrain has been upgraded for drivability and consists of a vintage 350ci engine (casting 3970010) that has been completely rebuilt with mild performance upgrades, including an Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carburetor.
The transmission is a Turbo 350 automatic.
Everything works as it should, including all lights, switches and gauges.
