Vehicle Description This is a matching numbers 1970 Trans Am, Ram Air III motor with Muncie four-speed transmission.
I have just completed a full frame off restoration, and all aspects of this car were addressed during the build.
I have documented the restoration process with approximately 230 pictures and some videos.
The car has its PHS documentation.
During the motor build, I opted to install the 461 stroker kit from Butler performance.
It features forged steel crank, Eagle rods, Ross custom pistons, roller camshaft, roller rockers, stainless steel valves, titanium valve spring retainers, high volume oil pump, double roller timing chain , a Protronics distributor system with built-in rev limiter, and a center force clutch.
The block was line bored and the rotating mass was completely balanced.
This motor looks dead stock and delivers some serious power and torque, running on 91 pump gas.
