Vehicle Description This custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was built by Dave Kunicki and Dave Murphy of Blue Max Restorations.
Power is supplied by an all-aluminum Wegner LS 416ci engine with an air-to-water intercooled supercharger, producing 930hp and 823 ft/lbs of torque.
The engine has a dry-sump oil system and is mated to a 5-speed Jericho transmission with a custom-made 7.
25-inch triple-plate carbon clutch, Tilton flywheel and Mark Williams driveline.
The engine breathes through a set of hand-built stainless headers with rectangular X-pipe exhaust.
The frame and suspension were reinforced by Freddies Fabrication in Kent, WA.
It features rear suspension converted to a 3-link setup using a full floater rear end with Wavetrac differential, 35-spline axles and Panhard bar.
The front suspension is composed of tubular arms, anti-sway bars and coilover shocks.
The brakes are 14-inch front rotors, 13-inch rear rotors with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers on the rear.
Other custom features include carbon-fiber inner fender wells, oil tank, custom door handles, hood pins and widened hood scoops.
The custom front bumper allows more air for the intercooler.
The interior consists of four custom bucket seats with Tobacco-colored woven leather, a handmade dash with Dakota Digital gauges, along with floor-mounted pedals with a foot rest on either side.
This vehicle is finished in Danube Blue on top and underneath, and it was featured in Canadian Hot Rods magazine (included with the sale).
