For Sale at Auction: 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air in Scottsdale, Arizona for sale in Scottsdale, AZ

1 of 11
Vehicle Description Known as Bad Air, with one-off identification scripts to match, this custom 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air coupe has received a total restoration and build performed at Hot Rods by Buff in Monroe, GA.
During the build, the frame was totally stripped and refinished, and the '56 Chevrolet body was completely restored on a rotisserie, carefully prepped and refinished in a two-tone red and black paint.
Powering Bad Air is a stout GM 502ci V8 crate engine mounting a 4-barrel carburetor and mated to a Lokar-shifted automatic transmission.
Air is delivered to the engine mill by a custom-fabricated hood scoop/air cleaner combination.
Ample stopping power is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes.
The interior of Bad Air is a fully customized creation, trimmed in leather upholstery and equipped with power-adjustable seats and a custom-fabricated center console.
Its amenities include a Vintage Air system and full power windows, including the vent windows.
Tunes are provided by a custom Autosound system.
This Bel Air has received limited use and proper care since completion in 2011.
As the second iteration of Chevrolet's Hot Ones produced for 1955-57, the mildly restyled 1956 models continue to strike a balance between the more conservative 1955 design and the flashy styling of 1957.
Today's customizers and hot-rodders continue to lend their magic touch to these classic legends, including the crew at Hot Rods by Buff.
