For Sale at Auction: 2018 Ferrari 488 in Scottsdale, Arizona for sale in Scottsdale, AZ

1 of 50
Vehicle Description This 2018 Ferrari 488 GTB Challenge factory race car is powered by an 8-cylinder 3.
9-liter turbocharged V8 engine with 670hp, paired with a 7-speed DCT Formula 1 automatic transmission.
The engine is the first turbo engine in the history of the Ferrari one-make series, and the only one since the F40.
In addition to the horsepower development, the 488 adapts new technology for Ferrari, including Side Slip Control, which helps plant the car under corner acceleration and avoids performance losses caused by rear axle skidding.
Manettino controls mounted directly on the steering wheel help control braking, traction and the electronic rear differential.
Aerodynamic changes to the car help add 5 to 10% more downforce and efficiency over the previous Challenge car generation.
At just over 2,900 pounds dry weight, the 488 GTB Challenge is the lightest and most powerful Challenge car ever developed by Ferrari.
In a 2021 article discussing the 488 Challenge, Road & Track stated that only 150 cars had been built, breaking down to roughly 25 cars per production year.
Specifically, this 488 has been thoroughly serviced by Norwood Auto Italia in Carrolton, TX, whose technicians commonly crew for the Ferrari Challenge Corse Clienti program.
The car was sold new for $345,187 and delivered on September 30, 2017.
It was recently fully serviced, added new tires and a full detail.
